This Thursday it’s Swap Night for the Cruise night at A&W Root beer Thursday from 5-8:30pm.
Also on Thursday, Riedel Glassware tasting. Taste different kinds of wine in glassware specifically designed for them. See for yourself the difference it makes for $60 per person at Heritage Oak Winery at 6:30pm. Seating is limited, so reserve yours by calling Tom at 209-986-2763.
The AARP Walgreen’s Wellness Tour is offering free health screenings that will provide adults with a foundation for early disease detection and prevention. On Thursday it will be at Micke Grove from 8am-1pm and on Friday it will be at the Walgreen’s in Lodi from 11am-5pm.
Friday:
Full Moon BBQ at Ripken Vineyards. From 6-9pm enjoy live music, wine and dinner for $35 for the general public and $40 at the door. For tickets go to ripkenwine.com.
The Cash tribute band featuring James Garner performing Friday night at 8pm. At Hutchins Street Square enjoy Johnny Cash’s biggest hits for only $20.
Saturday:
Bottle your own wine on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at d’Art Winery from 12-4pm. For $12.50 per bottle you get the Red Bistro Blend, the bottle, the cork and the label that you get to sign.
Sunday:
This Sunday is the annual Youth Fishing Derby at Lodi Lake from, an early, 7am-12pm. Fishing license is required for 16 and older and prizes awarded to kids 15 and younger for the 3 largest fish caught in each age group.
Shop Sunday in downtown Lodi. Starting at 11:30am there will be music at the post office and a free raffle for a $50 gift certificate from one of the businesses open on Sunday. This will happen every Sunday until the end of August.

Lodi Events for 5/21/10-5/23/10

Ladies Night Out at Oak Ridge Winery at 6pm. Shop while you enjoy free wine tasting and appetizers
Get ready for Mustang Night for the Cruise night at A&W Root beer Thursday from 5-8:30pm.
Also at the Cellar Door, Karaoke Thursdays from 7-10pm. A weeknight with wine and music.
Friday:
Friday and Saturday night live music at Abundance Vineyards where you can enjoy classic rock by the Crosstown Band starting at 6pm.
Saturday:
Travis Vega CD release party from 6-9pm at Pasos Vineyards on Saturday. Come celebrate his new CD with a special performance, wine tasting and refreshments.
Sunday:
Stogies Cigar Lounge Sunday cribbage, cigars and brew from 12-5pm. Join in to play a game, have a cigar and a beer.

It’s ZinFest Weekend!
On Friday the Vintner’s Grille at the Lake from 6-9pm. Join the Lodi Vintner’s for a casual dinner at Lodi Lake to kick off the annual ZinFest Wine Festival.
Saturday is the ZinFest Wine Festival at the Lodi Lake starting at noon. More than 250 wines from 50 Lodi wineries to enjoy with live music and delicious food.
Winery open houses on Sunday to end the ZinFest weekend. Travel winery to winery each offering special activities, events and tastings going on throughout the day. For tickets go to ZinFest.com

Now to out regular schedule, it’s Chevy Night for the Cruise night at A&W Root beer Thursday from 5-8:30pm.
Ladies Night Out at Classic Design Floor to Ceiling from 5:30-8:30pm. A night of pampering for the ladies for $20 per person benefiting the Women’s Center of San Joaquin. But don’t wait to buy, there are only 10 tickets left as of Tuesday. Ticket info at ladiesnightoutlodi.blogspot.com
Friday:
New Children’s Ballet at Hutchins Street Square Friday night at 7pm. A night of dance interpretations of award winning children’s literature.
Live music at the Cellar Door. Friday night Unit 7 plays smooth jazz from 7-11pm.

A late Cinco de Mayo Dance at Oakridge Winery on Saturday after the ZinFest at 7pm for $20 per person.
Swing Shift plays Saturday night at the Lodi Cellar Door at 7pm.

A blind taste test at uncorked in Woodbridge this Wednesday featuring Lodi Olive Oil. The $5 participating fee will go towards any wine purchase.
Thursday:
It’s Hot Rod night for the Cruise night at A&W Root beer Thursday from 5pm-8:30pm.
Friday:
The First Friday Art Hop from 6pm-8:30pm where you can view art, meet artists and sample wine and appetizers at 7 locations. Starting at Thomas Theatre Gallery at Hutchins Street Square and then move on to the Lodi Community Art Center, Dancing Fox, Scooters, Java Stop, Mckinleys Frame Shop and Vision Flooring. Big Booty Bob and the Backside Kickers at Abundance Vineyards on Friday and Saturday, starting at 6pm. Enjoy music and dancing for only $5.
Saturday:
Walk for the health of it. This Saturday at 8am there are many different walks to choose from for the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation. Just $15 per person or $30 for 3 people. All money goes to fund the equipment and services for Lodi Memorial Hospital. For more information do to lmhfoundation.org
Sunday:

Mothers Day at Wine and Roses. A buffet in the Garden Ballroom from 9:30am-3pm. Prices are $38 for adults, $17 for children 6-12 and ages 5 and under are free!
