Lodi Events for 4/30/10-5/2/10

We have a great weekend ahead, it even starts early on Wednesday! Lodi is going to have sunny weather in the 80's and it will be perfect for all of these events. Enjoy! I know I will!!!
Wednesday:
Wine tasting at the Hampton Inn for Pasos Winery from 5pm-6pm on Wednesday. The best part, no charge for tasting and appetizers.
Thursday:
Cruise night at A&W Root beer Thursday from 5pm-8:30pm. Its swap night so bring your goods. There will be awards and free raffles for t-shirts, hats, food and A&W stuff.
Friday:
Stogies Cigar Lounge is having a Cigar and Wine tasting event this Friday and Saturday starting at 6pm. Featuring Rocky Patel Cigars and Mountain Ranch Wines. For $10 you get a cigar and a tasting glass for the event.
Live music at Woodbridge Crossing from 9pm-1am with Donny and the Wayrads.
Saturday:
Free comic book day. The first Saturday in May each year in North America participating stores give away comic books absolutely free to anyone that comes into their stores. The Launchpad at 9 South Sacramento Street is participating from 10am-7pm.
A special release party at Vino Piazza for Pasos Winery from 11am-7pm. Taste a very special vintage dedicated to the wine-makers mother and enjoy appetizers.
May day release party at Abundance vineyards from 1pm-4pm. Releasing their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon with live music and appetizers from Devinci’s for only $10 per person.
Sunday:
It’s that time of the year and the weather will be fantastic in the 80’s for the Lodi Street Fair. You will enjoy over 700 vendors along with great food and live music from 8am-4pm this Sunday.
And as always, live music every weekend at Uncorked in Woodbridge.

Lodi Events for 4/23/10-4/25/10

These are the events that I found for this weekend in Lodi. There was not much on Friday and absolutely nothing on Sunday. That said, it is the Asparagus Festival this weekend in Stockton. That may have something to do with it. I hope you enjoy your weekendand have just as much fun as I will!
Thursday

Friday
Live music at the Lodi Cellar Door Friday night from 7pm-11pm. Robbie Allan and the outer edge play, who knows what kind of music, but there’s nothing else going on this Friday that I could find.
Saturday
Release party for Bixler Vineyards at Woodbridge Uncorked from 5pm-8pm. Releasing there 2008 Union Island White and 2009 Pinot Grigio. Enjoy wine tasting, complimentary appetizers and great discounts on all Bixler Wines.
Another night of live music at the Lodi Cellar Door starting at 7pm. Swing shift plays music from Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald just to name a few.
Alright Lodi, this is the time to step up and help out our local boy scouts. Spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the boy scout troop 199 from 5 till 8pm at First Baptist Church of Lodi. Tickets are only $8 and kids 5 and under eat free so it is very easy to help out!
First annual astronomy day at the world of wonders science museum from 10am-2pm. With lots of different activities it’s only $6 for adults, $4 for children and $5 for seniors and students.

Wednesday
Don’t miss out on a night of wine and dancing, Salsa Wednesdays at the Cellar Door every Wednesday from 7pm-9pm now till April 28th. Only $10 for a 2 hour lesson, appetizers and sangria.
Thursday
The Cellar Door, Karaoke Thursdays from 7pm-10pm.
Friday
The Lodi School Street Wine Stroll. 25 local wineries pour from within 25 downtown boutiques from 6pm-9pm serving appetizers and special sale offers. It costs $30 in advance and $35 the day of.
Get your groove on after the wine stroll on Friday night with live music at Lodi Wine Cellars. At 7pm Crystal Image plays classic rock, blues and country music.
Saturday
Come help assemble the sidewalk mosaics for Project Lodi Workshops from 9am-12pm at Hutchins Street Square.
Lodi’s best going grill to grill at the Lodi BBQ championships 6pm-10pm at Abundance Winery on Turner Road. Good food, lots of people and great wine.
Harney Lane Winery has a photography exhibit this Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-5pm. Showcasing the work of Ronald Johnson from Chicago.
Sunday
Because of the rain last Sunday the Classic Car Show at Vino Piazza will be 10am-5pm this Sunday the 18th. Enjoy great cars, live music, beer and vendors for only $15. And if you decide to bring the kids, 10 and under are free.
